Ipamorelin 10

Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide (a chain of five amino acids) classified as a Growth Hormone Secretagogue (GHS) and ghrelin receptor agonist. It stimulates the anterior pituitary gland to release natural Growth Hormone (GH) in rhythmic pulses.

How It Works

Ipamorelin binds specifically to the Ghrelin Secretagogue Receptor (GHSR-1a) in the brain. This mimics the action of ghrelin, triggering a natural release pulse of endogenous growth hormone into the bloodstream, which subsequently elevates Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 (IGF-1) levels.

Why It Is Unique: High Selectivity

Unlike older growth hormone secretagogues (such as GHRP-2 or GHRP-6), Ipamorelin is highly selective.

 No Cortisol or Prolactin Spikes: It triggers GH release without significantly stimulating adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) or prolactin, preventing unwanted spikes in cortisol (stress hormone) or prolactin.

 Minimal Appetite Stimulation: While it targets the ghrelin receptor, it rarely triggers the intense hunger spikes typical of GHRP-6.
